Holland Corporate Finance is pleased to announce that its client, the shareholder of Paul Klaren OEM Parts, has successfully sold its shares in the company to TCP, a group of informal investors, and management.

Paul Klaren OEM Parts, based in Dordrecht (the Netherlands), is a stock-keeping company that specialises in the supply and distribution of OEM quality spare parts for selected diesel engines in marine and power generation applications. The company’s spare parts include critical high-wear parts such as piston rings, bearings and valves as well as more wear-resistant parts including cylinder heads, cylinder liners, pistons and connecting rods. Since its foundation in 1981, the company has grown steadily into a leading international player in the supply of diesel engine spare parts.

In recent years Holland Corporate Finance has acted as advisor in a number of transactions in the marine equipment sector. This transaction marks our third deal in this sector in 2010. Despite recent downturns in some areas of the marine equipment market, there are still strong successful niche players and we see good interest in these firms from both strategic as well as financial buyers.
