AlpInvest Partners has acquired a majority stake in GoGo Tours, the largest and fast-growing Dutch online direct seller of sun and snow package tours through its brands Sunweb and GoGo.
Managing director Joost Romeijn is very enthusiastic about the transaction: “We have been approached by financial parties in the recent past for a possible acquisition, but we never came to a deal. The knowledge, network and financial power of AlpInvest facilitate GoGo Tours to roll-out our successful business model inEurope and further strengthen our position in the
Netherlands .”
